Dear DB-TC Parents, 

   Here is the DB-TC Return-to-School Plan for your review. If you have suggested edits for the Return-to-School Plan, please contact a committee member by Friday and indicate what section you are referring to, what is currently included in the plan in that section, and how you would suggest to modify it, and why. We appreciate your thoughtful input. 

   Please understand that DB-TC is focusing on safety first for our return to school, and the school board has approved this plan which prioritizes student and staff safety. However, we are open to editing the plan, or adding protocols in addition to the plan, if we receive suggestions that make more sense in our context. 

   We realize that this plan will not be a perfect fit for all of our families, but we hope that the Virtual Learning Option or Online Platform Option will meet the needs of our students for whom coming to in-person school this fall will not be possible. Thank you to all for your input shared in the Return-to-School Planning Survey, which helped us understand DB-TC families’ perspectives on this important topic. And remember: these new requirements will not last forever, and how we “do school” will be subject to change as time goes on. Our students’ good health and quality education are our focus.
